1 · NUHH ClipForge and platform data

NUHH ClipForge is a personal desktop tool with a single user — THE NUHH — running on his own computer. It works only with his own screen recordings and his own connected accounts to do one job: turn his Twitch streams into short clips and hand them to his own social channels.

• Twitch: reads THE NUHH's own videos, clips, and channel info to build clips.
• TikTok: uses TikTok's Content Posting API to send clips to THE NUHH's own TikTok account as drafts, with Direct Post turned off — every clip lands in his TikTok inbox for him to review, caption, and publish (or discard) by hand. Nothing is posted automatically. ClipForge also reads only the basic account info TikTok requires to do this. It never posts to, or reads data from, anyone else's account.
• YouTube: may publish or reference clips on THE NUHH's own channel.

ClipForge does not collect, request, or store data about other TikTok, Twitch, or YouTube users, their videos, or their followers. It does not act on behalf of anyone but THE NUHH. Access tokens for these platforms are stored locally on his computer, used only to perform the actions above, never sold, shared, or exposed on the site, and can be revoked at any time from each platform's own settings — which immediately ends ClipForge's access.

2 · What the website collects from visitors

• If you sign in with Twitch or Discord: we receive a basic profile identifier (such as your user ID and display name) to create your account, show your name on leaderboards, and track your votes, predictions, and NUHH Tokens. We don't receive your password.
• If you vote or predict without signing in: we store an anonymous identifier in a cookie and a one-way hashed form of your IP address to keep voting fair (one vote per person). We never store your raw IP address.
• Web push notifications (optional): if you opt in, we store the browser subscription needed to send you ballot-open and prediction alerts. You can turn this off any time in your browser.

3 · How data is used

We use the data above only to run the site's features — accounts, leaderboards, voting integrity, predictions, tokens, and optional notifications. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it.

4 · How data is stored and shared

Site data is stored in a hosted database and served through our hosting provider (Netlify). We share data only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the site and with the platforms you choose to connect (Twitch, Discord). We don't share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

5 · Cookies

We use cookies for essential functions only: keeping you signed in and remembering your anonymous voter identity so votes stay fair. We don't use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6 · Data retention

Account and gameplay data (votes, predictions, tokens) is kept while your account is active and may be cleared when a season resets. Hashed voter identifiers are kept only as long as needed to protect the current vote. Platform tokens used by ClipForge are kept only while the connection is active and are removed when revoked.

7 · Your choices

• You can vote and browse without signing in.
• You can disconnect Twitch or Discord, or turn off notifications, at any time.
• You can ask us to delete your account data — reach out via the contacts below.
• You can revoke ClipForge's access to any platform from that platform's own settings.

8 · Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we'll remove it.

9 · Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site and ClipForge evolve. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
